The waste industry has faced many challenges throughout 2021, including impacts from Brexit and the effects of Covid. Andusia have showcased their resilience throughout the year and have now exported almost 1.7 million tonnes of RDF, diverting waste from UK landfill.
2022 looks to be a promising year for Andusia. We are eagerly anticipating the opening of our new clinical waste plant in Stoke, as well as seeing the progression of our new facility, the Newport EfW. Alongside this, we expect some top-tier team outings as we look to celebrate Andusia’s 10-year anniversary in February.
Andusia are happy to report that their first ever movement of SRF to Scandinavia left Grimsby Dock on Wednesday 8th December 2021.
Approximately 2500 tonnes of SRF waste provided by UK waste supplier Ellgia was loaded on to the Vessel on the 8th and has arrived safely in the early hours on Monday 13th December.

Andusia are pleased to report that their success from bulk shipping is continuing throughout November, with many shipments scheduled for December and the new year!
Our latest boat, Ernst Hagedorn, saw the movement of approximately 2,900 tonnes of RDF from Chatham Docks to Sweden on Friday 19th November 2021. This movement marks continued business for Andusia, with many shipments already scheduled for the near future.
Andusia are pleased to announce that due to business growth, we have welcomed a new member to the team. With a busy year ahead, we have welcomed Paige Dawson as a Logistics Administrator, playing a crucial role in keeping the operations department running smoothly.
