Why not Bale and Wrap?

The UK Government’s tax on landfill increases year on year – 2023 will be no different, in fact due to inflation hitting a 40-year high, we’ll see a huge jump. Next April, landfill tax will increase in line with the Retail Price Index, which could see an increase of as much as £10 per tonne. Putting landfill tax in the hundreds for the first time.

Introducing the Andusia Haulier Awards

This Summer, Andusia reported on their best eight months (since 2016) in volume terms, exporting almost 141,000 tonnes of waste across Northern Europe and Scandinavia. An achievement that has seen the company’s total export volume of RDF, SRF and waste wood grow to 1.8 million tonnes since launching in 2012 and one that could feasibly lead to a record-breaking year for the business.

Andusia recognise that their success can be attributed not only to developing a strong supply base of UK waste management companies and establishing relationships with some of the largest EfW plants in Europe, but also their long-standing relationships with hauliers across Europe.

Waste that has not only been diverted from UK landfill but generating electricity and heat for residents in Northern Europe and Scandinavia.
