Andusia would like to wish a Happy 5th Anniversary to Assistant Accountant, Maddie Goodyear.
Maddie joined Andusia in October 2015 as Office Administrator, working 2 days a week whilst also completing her Business A-Levels at college. In early 2016, Maddie went on to join the Accounts department, full-time, and commenced an AAT apprenticeship to embark upon a career in accountancy. In July of last year Maddie was promoted to Assistant Accountant.
Andusia are pleased to report they have now exported just over 1.4 million tonnes of RDF in their 8 and a half years in industry. Exporting RDF waste to EfW plants across Northern Europe and Scandinavia, and diverting it from UK landfill.
It has been a busy month and Andusia are happy to announce the addition of another RDF supply partner, family-run Britaniacrest Recycling, based in Surrey.
Formed in 1993, Britaniacrest have grown from strength to strength to become one of the South’s leading private waste management companies.
Andusia is delighted to announce they have secured an RDF supply contract with London’s largest recycling and waste management company, Powerday.
Powerday have the capacity to process over 2 million tonnes of construction, demolition, municipal, commercial and industrial waste a year. Using the latest technology to recycle and recover, they are committed to providing 100% diversion from landfill solutions.
Never before has it been so vital to dispose of infectious waste responsibly. In addition to the safety risks presented from moving clinical waste long distance overseas and the added approvals required, there is also a significant cost, both direct and indirect.
